The web has opened up a new era of information dissemination. Fundamental to being effective in this new medium is competence in the specific needs, and limits, of information architecture in this medium.
Our web services include:
- analysis of information requirements and definition of an optimised information architecture for the proposed site or subsite
- website design and development (including both static and dynamic content)
- development of site standards (for content, development, coding, etc), and
- development of website support processes - including content management, side administration and disaster recovery.
isambard are not graphic designers, but information designers. Our focus is on the clarity of the message and we utilise graphics (working with a talented pool of graphic designers) as and when required to improve that clarity. As a result of this focus, most of our work is conducted in the intranet/extranet space, as that is where site aesthetics are not driven solely by the marketing department.
