process design
Process definition and design is a core skill at isambard:
- analysing and documenting business processes (whether for certification or simply for clarification)
- facilitating the definition of new processes (via interview, workshop, survey, etc)
- conducting formal process assessments, comparing current practices with quality standard requirements
- organising and conducting quality system audits
Several of our staff are formally trained as quality system auditors (ISO 9000). This is because we believe that the design and implemention of a qualtiy system is a valuable approach to establishing and stabilising organisational performance. This performance then provides a starting point for future performance improvement: a quality system is a waypoint, not an endpoint.
Whether you are seeking certification or not, having ISO9000 qualified staff involved in your process analysis and definition ensures all such definitions are developed within a recognised and standard framework.
