As information architects, our focus is on analysing, organising and presenting information.
The skills we use in those activities depend on the purpose that the information is being provided for:
- technical writing
- instructional design
- web development
- user interface design
- online help/support
- process design
While each of these skills is described independently we do not consider them so distinct. Where information needs require a mix of skills we are able to provide the necessary resources to make best use of each skill in developing an optimum solution.
